FAQ?
What are you doing for student privacy
While we typically like to post pictures and testimonials to help share the word, during this time we will take online privacy/safety seriously. Some of the things we will do include
No pictures/videos involving kids on webinars will be posted (faces and backgrounds will be edited out).
Webinars will have passwords or invite links only.
Classes with less than 3 participants will become broadcast only (no student interaction).
Leveraging best practices from local school districts and digital teaching experts.
When will the classes be?
Class dates are tbd, but we will record and save all class information for you to learn at your own pace. We will also make ourselves available for feedback and help.
How long will the classes be?
We’re keeping classes to no more than 30 min of teaching time.
Who will be teaching the classes?
Our classes will be taught by our college interns. Not only is it cool to see students teaching students, it showcases that your student isn’t far off from becoming an engineer themselves.
What will the cost be?
Craft based classes are FREE
Kit based classes will have a cost associated with them, Most of the cost will be for materials we will either instruct you to buy online, or will mail to you from our team.
ex. Arduino kit, or 3D parts we printed that will help you create your design.
How hard are the classes.
Craft based classes are aimed at a younger audience. They’re meant to be fun and relaxing
Kit based crafts require focus, problem solving, and might involve some frustration. This is meant for students who can focus well on their own, and can communicate problems.
What happens if our students need help?
We will hold open hours to help with students that are having problems. Teaching remotely is new to us too, so we are in this together.
