DALLAS, TX - HAKing Innovation, a STEAM-focused, Non-profit, 501(c)(3), has elected a new board of directors for the 2021 programming year. The board will help fulfill the organization’s mission of creating confidence and competence using technology as a tool. The eight new board members were sworn in earlier this year.
This marks a significant milestone in HAKing Innovation’s strategic plan to create organizational sustainability while also devising a plan to rebound strongly from COVID-19 setbacks. The eight board member team represents a variety of skillsets to advocate for the best interests of our stakeholders.
Joining the board of directors are:
Harry A. Kennedy Jr., an Electrical Engineer and Executive Director of HAKing Innovation. He will focus on implementing the strategic vision of the company in order to develop a pipeline of high-performing engineers.
Darin Carter, Security GRC Manager for Coinbase. He has expertise within two growing industries: cybersecurity and cryptocurrencies.
Tanya Lynch, Director of Human Resources at Mouser Electronics. She brings an understanding of the College Intern journey and will provide guidance on how to identify and develop high-performing engineers.
Ashley Woodruff, MBA, Ad User Experience at Spotify. She is an expert in translating data findings into tangible user experience improvements.
Sabre Evans, Project Manager at DFW Consulting Group, a full-service consulting group with 4,400 jobs completed in 35 states and three countries. She has expertise in managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
Nneka McGee, Executive Director of Learning and Innovation at South San Antonio Independent School District. She has expertise in working with gifted and talented students and how to engage them at an early age.
Daniel L. Scott Jr., PMP, an Electrical Engineer with 30 years of leadership work within the aerospace, defense, military, and commercial technology industries. He’s a role model in continuing education as he currently is a doctoral student at the University of Southern California.
Andrew Leverette, Stanford Graduate in Electrical Engineering turned serial entrepreneur. He currently owns multiple businesses within the DFW Metroplex, which gives him expertise within many small businesses that hire trade workers.
